This handmade set pairs black buffalo horn teeth with a green sandalwood handle, and horn has a naturally smooth, almost polished surface that glides through hair without the static plastic generates and with less drag than wood. The teeth are rounded and blunt, so they massage the scalp gently rather than scratching it, and a small groove at each tooth base helps the comb slide past knots without snapping the hair. The Honest Notes
