RiseWell's Balancing Mouthwash is built from a genuinely short, clean list, water, glycerin, xylitol, baking soda, calcium carbonate, and spearmint and peppermint oils, and that is essentially the whole thing. There is no alcohol, no SLS, no dyes, no artificial flavors, and no parabens, and unlike many rinses it does not lean on a solubilizer or other functional synthetics to hold itself together. It is dentist-developed, with a prosthodontist among its founders, and it is vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free.

Its job is in the name: balancing.

1. This Balancing Mouthwash does not contain hydroxyapatite, that mineral is in RiseWell's toothpaste and floss, not this rinse. So think of this as a pH-balancing, microbiome-supporting rinse, not a remineralizing treatment. 2. Second, it is flavored with mint essential oils, so it is not fragrance-free.

An Honest Word on Fluoride

Like the rest of our rinses, this one has no added fluoride, so the same even-handed note applies:

Fluoride has strong cavity-prevention evidence, and choosing a fluoride-free rinse is a personal preference rather than a safety upgrade. This mouthwash supports a balanced, healthy mouth environment, but it is not a cavity treatment on its own, so lean on good brushing habits, and if you are cavity-prone, ask your dentist whether a fluoride or hydroxyapatite product also belongs in your routine.
