For plastic-free bulk water and beverage storage, it is an excellent choice.

The Honest Tradeoffs

A few honest points, and they matter more at this size.

1. Full, this tank holds 100 liters of liquid, which is well over 200 pounds, so it is a place-it-once vessel, you fill and empty it where it lives rather than carrying it around full. 

2. It is best treated as a short-term storage and dispensing vessel rather than a permanent water reserve: Sansone notes that standing water over long periods can leave minor surface spots inside the steel, which a kitchen cleanser wipes away, so the routine is to rotate the water, rinse, dry, and inspect periodically.
